Andre the "Asian" Sensation has been selected our #1 ranked Professional MMA fighter for our July 2016 New England MMA Rankings. Andre has been a professional fighter since September of 2011, where he lost his professional debut. "The Asian Sensation" has 13 professional MMA bouts. Andre's home gym is one of the Florida based UFC powerhouses in The Blackzillians, with head trainer Henry Hooft.

After loosing his professional debut Andre went on a two year tear of the regional bantamweight division in which he racked up 7 straight wins. Andre was than stopped by his soon to be title challenger Kin "Kong" Moy on January 24,2014 as he lost a majority decision in a fight of the year candidate match. Andre showed his resilience by bouncing back and defeating Tom English on October 10, 2014 with a submission victory via rear naked choke in the 2nd round of their respected bout. May 13th, 2015 was Andre's next bout in which he was out wrestled in a unanimous decision loss to Brian Kelleher. Again the champion bounced back defeating Carlos Galindo on October 30th of the same year by TKO due to strikes in the 2nd round.

On March 11th 2016, Andre defeated wrestling stand out Kody Norby for the CES MMA World Bantamweight championship earning a AXS TV top 10 2016 Knock Out of The Year with a flying knee in the 5th round. Andre Achilles heal in many viewers opinions has been his wrestling. In this championship bout Andre silenced his critics by stopping take-down attempts by Kody Norby in every round of their 5 round championship bout

Andre's next CES MMA fight on August 12th, 2016 is very important as he will be looking to avenge a loss, defend his title for the 1st time, and prove that he is the true kingpin of the New England MMA Bantamweight division as he faces Kin "Kong" Moy in a rubber match. Andre has sacrificed a lot and moved his family down to Florida in 2014 to pursue a professional MMA career with the Blackzillians.
