Meet Sean Lally

We want to take the time to thank Sean for sitting down with us before his first Professional Title Fight this Saturday for Cage Titans in Plymouth MA. Sean is nicknamed “The Unpredictable One” based on his unorthodox fighting style. He is known for pushing the pace and throwing bombs which has led him to this upcoming Title Shot at just 3-1 as a professional MMA fighter. At the age of 24 Sean stands at 6ft tall and comes from the Mountain city and state of Littleton NH but fights out of Gracie Fitness in Hyannis MA. Sean in managed by his coaches Mike “Loco Lobo” Gresh, Juliano “Banana” Coutinho and Andy Cote out of Sityodtong. Sean cross trains in BJJ with Gracie Fitness, and Muay Thai and feels his strengths are Adaptability, strength, and his willing to fight to death. Sean has put in a standard yet challenging full 8 week fight camp in preparation for the biggest test of his professional career so far. Sean faces William “the Bronx Bomber” Santiago (4-3), who is known for his devastating one punch knockout powew. Sean has an Amateur Record of 1-1 and Professional record of 3-1 which he has currently won his last 3 fights all in the 1st round and is riding a nice 3 fight win streak into his title fight this Saturday. What is your favorite post weigh in food?

Sushi.

What food do you miss the most while cutting weight and Dieting for a fight?

Fried chicken tenders.

Do you think they should implement same day weigh ins?

No, Guys would still do cuts and it would cause more problems than

Good.

Who will be in your corner for this fight?

Loco Lobo, Daniel Gracie, and one of the coaches from Sityodtong.

Thoughts on opponent?

He's a tough guy but I believe he's a one Dimensional fighter.

When and why did you start training for fighting?

I started Fighting when I was just a kid. My friends and I would meet every

Weekend and beat the shit out of each other with MMA gloves on.

My formal MMA training started when I was about 15 and I had

My first amateur fight at age 17. Fighting has always been an outlet

for me, it's the one thing that I've always been drawn to.

How many sparing sessions weekly do you do while in fight

Camp?

1-2 hard sparring sessions, everything else is technique

And strength/conditioning.

What are your hobbies?

Fighting, Working out.

What is your (current/previous) job?

Currently I am a strength coach and group exercise instructor, before that I was

a member of the 1/75th Ranger Regiment in the US Army.

Specific accomplishments in Pro competition?

All finishes in theFirst round.

How would you describe your fight style?

Controlled Chaos

Surf and smash.

What is the story behind your nickname?

People never know What I'm going to do......all we know is I'm coming to fight.

What do you consider to be the key fight in your career, and why?

My next fight is always the key fight because that keeps me Moving up the ladder to where I want to be.

What are you plans after you win the fight?

Train for the next
